The Shoppe At Tierra Este (Sabra Montana)

Project Description
The scope of work for The Shoppes at Tierra Este, owned by River Oaks Properties, includes 9 buildings with various retail suites.

Concept Description
The frontier time period was the inspiration and idea for the architectural design used in the buildings and of the current Shops at Tierra Este. During those frontier days, small towns were built in close proximity to other buildings with many adjoining elevated wood plank sidewalks. The front or sides of the buildings consisted of varied wall heights rising to form parapets or upper walls giving an illusion of larger than size building. The façade of the building had wood columns to hold up the porches and awnings to protect the people from the elements. Most of the used materials consisted of wood, steel and corrugated metal.
